The sun shone over Northern Italy as a Dutch delegation prepared for a journey of opportunity, inspiration, and new collaborations from October 27 to 29, 2025. Organized by RVO, SportNL, and the Dutch Consulate in Milan, this mission was more than a business visit; it was an adventure connecting the power of sports innovation and infrastructure with a passion for future-oriented sports experiences.
The journey took participants to the largest sports stadiums and the most progressive sports facilities in Bologna and Turin. In the Virtus Segafredo Arena, with nearly 10,000 seats and a sleek, modern look, you immediately felt the energy of a club fully committed to innovation and fan experience. Here, in the heart of Bologna, it’s not just basketball being played—the future of sports infrastructure is being shaped.
At the iconic PalaDozza and the ultra-modern Juventus Stadium, the delegation experienced firsthand how technology and design converge to make sports not only more attractive but also more accessible. It was powerful proof that sports, infrastructure, and accessibility can go hand in hand.
